Kelvion Ecobraze XCR Series brazed plate heat exchangers are designed for corrosive fluids containing chlorine. They offer the advantages of standard copper-brazed plate heat exchangers and use corrosion-resistant SMO 254 plates. The unit is brazed with a copper or nickel alloy.
Safety Chamber™
The patented Safety Chamber™ absorbs thermal stress and pressure surges acting on the plates. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the heat exchanger ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
Delta Injection™
Developed specifically for refrigeration applications, the patented Delta Injection™ feature distributes the refrigerant evenly as soon as it enters the heat exchanger, enabling high-performance evaporation. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
