Kelvion Ecobraze DW Series double-wall brazed plate heat exchangers transfer heat between fluids that must not mix in a single unit. The double-wall plate arrangement is intended to prevent a leak through one plate from reaching the other fluid. Instead, leaked fluid can drain through the safety gap.
Safety Chamber™
The patented Safety Chamber™ absorbs thermal stress and pressure surges acting on the plates. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the heat exchanger ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
Delta Injection™
Developed specifically for refrigeration applications, the patented Delta Injection™ feature distributes the refrigerant evenly as soon as it enters the heat exchanger, enabling high-performance evaporation. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
