NT and NL series With our models, thanks to plate pasteurization heat exchangers designed to suit milk, homogeneous distribution of milk on the plate surface is ensured. Thanks to the new generation superior plate structure, our heat exchangers can operate for long hours without the need for intermediate CIP. Thanks to this superior plate design, CIP cleaning is much more effective than conventional heat exchangers.
Gasket replacement can be easily done with the user-friendly Ecolog gasket system of our NT and NL Series heat exchangers. Thus, during heat exchanger maintenance, the problem of reopening the heat exchanger as a result of slipping of the heat exchanger gaskets is completely eliminated. There are users around the world who prefer Kelvion heat exchangers just for this feature.

Raw Milk Pasteurization Heat Exchangers
Our raw milk pasteurization heat exchangers are generally configured in three to six stages. The number of stages is selected according to the associated equipment and the required heating and cooling duties. High regeneration efficiency is especially important for reducing utility costs in drinking-milk pasteurizers. In a 15-ton pasteurizer, a five-percentage-point change in regeneration efficiency corresponds to approximately 80 kg/h of steam consumption and also affects chilled-water demand.

Cream Pasteurization Heat Exchangers
Our specially developed heat exchangers process cream gently to preserve yield. They handle cream with a fat content of 35–65% and can operate for long periods without an intermediate CIP cycle. Typically built in three or four stages, our cream pasteurization heat exchangers combine high regeneration efficiency with low operating costs.

Brine Exchangers

Saline solutions can cause pitting corrosion in plate heat exchangers; the rate depends on temperature and salt concentration. Selecting the correct material prevents premature failure and unnecessary cost. Titanium plates are commonly used for their resistance to saline media. High regeneration efficiency is particularly important in brine pasteurization heat exchangers.

It is generally used in businesses that process whey powder. Whey is a perishable product; Even short periods of waiting may cause blockages in the towers - due to its high acidity. We produce our heat exchangers in three or four stages, based on whey values. In this application, we also pay attention to the high regeneration efficiency.
