The Conchitherm series is designed for rising-film evaporation, particularly in sugar processing. It can also boost the capacity of conventional plate evaporators. Its optimized plate design permits a wide-gap option without metal-to-metal contact points across heat-transfer surfaces larger than 3 m². Low pressure drop may eliminate the need for an intermediate circulation pump in suitable duties.
