An economical solution for duties whose viscosity exceeds the capabilities of gasketed FreeFlow or NW Series plate heat exchangers. It handles highly viscous, particle-laden, lumpy or corrosive media.
The wide channel gap makes maintenance and cleaning straightforward. Channel geometry can be selected independently for the two media to optimize the heat-transfer coefficient, efficiency and cost. The unit can achieve a temperature approach of 3 °C and handle single- or two-phase duties as a condenser or evaporator. Horizontal and vertical configurations are available.
It is possible to produce it with all materials that can be shaped and welded. Carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, titanium, nickel alloys, etc..)
