K°Flex combines the advantages of shell-and-tube and plate heat exchangers in one unit. Its flexible design supports duties ranging from main condensation in power plants to reboiling and evaporation in the sugar, chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas industries, as well as heat transfer with two-phase mixtures. It maintains effective turbulence at variable flow rates and close temperature approaches, with low pressure drop even at high throughput, and is easier to clean than a conventional shell-and-tube heat exchanger.
